Paint your own Pottery

Fridays & Saturdays, 11am-4pm

Looking for a creative outlet for any skill level? Dive into the Art Center's D-I-Y Studio for a Paint Your Own Pottery session! Choose from our wide selection of bisque ceramic dishes and decor. We'll provide all the instructions, glaze, tools and in-house kiln firing...you just bring your imagination! No registration required, but please give us advance notice if you’re bringing a group.

Kids are more than welcome to participate! Please note that this is an unsupervised program, and younger artists who may need supervision should be accompanied by an older companion.

Live Figure Drawing Group

Wednesdays, 5-7pm

Practice your drawing skills with live models and other students in this self-directed bi-monthly learner’s circle. Bring your own sketch book and preferred drawing materials, or use the wide assortment in the classroom. No registration required, students just pay a small studio fee each session.

LAC Members receive 10% off all Program Fees!

Community Clay Studio

Wednesdays 1-6:30pm; Fridays & Saturdays 11am-4pm

We welcome students of the Ken Edwards Ceramics Studio to use the wheels, slab rollers, extruders, and any of the tools you'd like to practice your craft. Community Studio members can bring their own low-fire clay or purchase through the LAC.

The Community Clay Studio is open to active students of ceramics on a drop-in basis. Punch cards for single, six- or twelve sessions are available. Punch card holders are free to use the equipment, tools, and glazes in the studio, can store their artwork and supplies onsite, and can use our kilns for weekly firings! Work-trade opportunities are also available. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Outside of Open Studio hours, the LAC Classroom and Gallery are available for rental! We can accommodate most groups for meetings, parties, performances, art classes and more.
