Experience the essence of local art with Sue Toppen’s exhibition, “Linger Longer - A Summer in Lewistown”. Sue is spending the summer painting her heart out in Lewistown, using our very streets as inspiration. Her completed works will be on display in the Wilkins Gallery throughout the month of August.

Sue Toppen’s oil paintings are characterized by juicy impressionistic brush strokes, lively color and whimsical themes.  Gestural figures and architecture are among her favorite subjects but her paintings may also include still lifes of floral bouquets with antique glassware, local landscapes and most recently, abstract subjects. Sue is an award-winning artist whose work has been nourished by the good fortune to spend winters painting Arizona and summers painting resplendent vistas in Lewistown, Montana.
