Participants will learn the basics of pinch pots as they create their own mugs! Pinch pots (also known as thumb pots) are the oldest form of ceramics vessels. Participants will create pinched cups and mugs before treating their surfaces. Pieces will be fired and glazed at the Ken Edwards Memorial Ceramic Studio.
MCB received her BFA in Ceramics from the University of Montana, and her MA in Contemporary Art, Design, and New Media Art Histories, specializing in ceramics.
