Participants will learn the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel to create a mug. Learn how to wedge, center, and throw a vessel on the wheel with demonstrations and tips and tricks.
Instructor Mary Callahan Baumstark received her BFA in Ceramics from the University of Montana, and her MA in Contemporary Art, Design, and New Media Art Histories, specializing in ceramics.
