We’re heading into the holiday season! Explore and learn how to carve linoleum blocks to print your own notes, artwork-- even personalized holiday cards! This beginner printmaking class will teach you the foundations of block printing, including creating a design, transferring it to the block, carving the block and how to print your image onto card paper stock. Advanced students can also use multi blocks for multiple colors or paint into their images. Students will keep their carved blocks, art and cards for further reproduction at home!

Instructor Deborah Hayes received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Printmaking and has been an art instructor for many years, regularly teaching classes at the Lewistown Art Center.
